The MBBS program is accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council, and listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools. Widad University College is also recognized in SETARA 2022 as “Competitive (Berdaya Saing).”
The curriculum emphasizes medical knowledge, clinical practice, research opportunities, and clinical experience. Students are based in Kuantan, Pahang, with the first two years at the main campus and the following three years in clinical training near Hospital Sultanah Ampuan Afzan.
For admission, applicants must meet the university’s academic requirements and take part in an interview. Widad states that no separate admission test is required.
