I am looking for a Ph.D. scholarship in Counseling Psychology. My average aggregate for an MBA was 3.6. Kindly assist with the procedures

Hi, for Ph.D., the admissions are decentralized and are through the individual departments. You need to apply through the department where Psychology is located. For Ph.D., there are no separate application for scholarships because the Ph.D. degree is fully funded through combinations of research assistantships, teaching assistantships, and fellowships.

Is there full funding opportunity for master degree?

    • Hyun Lee at - Reply

Yes although it is quite rare. Master’s students are eligible for assistantships, especially teaching assistantships, but these are quite rare. For Master’s, you should plan on paying for it.

Hi, I have MBA in Marketing with CGPA 3.83. Also have 20 years of experience as a professional diplomat. Now working as a Foreign Diplomat in New York. Looking for a Ph.D opportunity at Yale in International relations/ business/public administration. Is there any opportunity? thank you.

Hi, Ph.D. is a research degree, meaning that it is about 80% research and 20% coursework. Research experience is the single most important aspect in Ph.D. Admissions. I’m not sure if your work experience will help in gaining admission to Yale Ph.D. program if you do not have any research experience in the relevant area. Of course, you are free to apply, but without research experience, your chances are slim.
