Cardiff University’s academic structure consists of 3 main colleges which are the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, the College of Physical Sciences, and the College of Biomedical & Life Sciences. 36 different academic schools come under these 3 colleges. It offers over 300 undergraduate degrees and 200 postgraduate Masters degrees, diplomas, and certificates in addition to short-term courses.

Cardiff University consists of two different campuses which are within the city limits of Cardiff. The Heath Park campus is located one mile towards the north and is home to the Cardiff Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Healthcare Sciences. This is in the same location as the University Hospital of Wales.

The Cathays Park campus houses the rest of the campus facilities, including the 22 other academic schools and the Students’ Union. Additional facilities including the main libraries, lecture theatres and the sports facilities such as the swimming pools and sports centers are located here as well. When considering student life, students have access to shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and pubs within close proximity to the university premises.
