- $3,375 to $5,000 per semester for teaching assistantships

Hello, there’s no “being qualified” for graduate assistantships because it’s not like if you meet this set of requirements, graduate assistantships are awarded. It depends on how many assistants are needed at that particular time. Regarding graduate assistantships at Columbia or at any US university though in general, Master’s students have a difficult time obtaining assistantships since the Ph.D. students get the assistantships first.
