The Good Samaritan Scholarship is offered by Connecticut Domestic Violence Information Center as a way to pay kindness forward and to give back to the community. Students who are able to show compassion and sympathy towards others along with their academic intelligence are encouraged to apply. This scholarship is open to all students – whether they may be incoming college freshmen, undergraduates, graduate students, or law school students.

The Connecticut Domestic Violence Information Center at the Law Offices of Mark Sherman is based in Stamford, Connecticut. They specialize in domestic violence and family violence cases.
