Earlham's Engineering program goes beyond traditional systems and structures. You’ll gain the technical skills required to pursue a successful career in engineering through a curriculum that takes a justice-driven approach to solving complex, real-world problems. While gaining foundational knowledge in engineering theory, you'll also benefit from hands-on design work in every class that will allow you to hone your skills. You'll explore social, economic and environmental issues—learning to harness engineering for positive change. This is a new program at Earlham, and we're on track for ABET accreditation after our first cohort graduates.

In Earlham’s business program, you'll collaborate with peers from around the world (40% international) to tackle complex social challenges, develop new programs and strategies and gain an understanding of the ecosystem of industries, businesses and NGOs. Earlham offers funding up to $5,000 for students to complete an internship that aligns with their career goals. Every year, students compete in business plan competitions—including the million-dollar Hult Prize—that can result in seed funding for a new business addressing a social challenge. Business majors can excel in graduate programs and industries such as nonprofits, finance, education and management consulting.
