1. University of Dubai – College of Law

The College of Law at the University of Dubai specializes in postgraduate programs. At present, the faculty offers two highly focused master’s programs: Master of Laws (LLM) in Financial Crimes and Money Laundering and Master of Laws (LLM) in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution (ADR). The study programs are carefully created due to the university’s strategic location. The university is situated in Dubai, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. Best known as the global business hub city, Dubai has dealt with countless illegal activities, primarily business-related. It has become apparent that there is a lack of local professionals handling and settling these disagreements. So, the faculty curated specialized degree programs aiming to produce potential lawmakers and law professionals that would help subside the illegal activities prevalent in the country.

All study programs are taught in Arabic with a handful of courses in English. The Bachelor of Law program covers law courses in both public and private disciplines with a concentration in UAE law. The Graduate programs are categorized into two: Public Law and Private Law. Postgraduate programs include Master of Private Law and Master of Public Law. The highest level of degree that can be obtained in the university is Doctor of Philosophy in Law.

4. Sorbonne-Assas International Law School

The Sorbonne-Assas International Law School is among the best law schools in the UAE. It is one of the satellite campuses of Panthéon-Assas University or better known as Paris 2. The university is a top law school in France and has expanded its law faculty across the globe. Without a doubt, the Dubai campus is considered an elite law school in UAE. Most of the professors are from Panthéon-Assas University, and other lecturers are some distinguished law professionals.

Bachelors and Masters degree programs are offered in the Dubai campus. The Bachelor’s of Law (LL.B.) program’s primary focus is on the core areas in domestic and international legal systems. The program can be completed in three years, and the tuition fee is about 23,000 euros/year. LL.M. in International Business Law program is designed to have in-depth knowledge about case studies and specialized subjects. The duration of the program is 200 hours consisting of 10 courses, a seminar for each course.
