Aminta Permpoonwiwat

Aminta Permpoonwiwat, known as Aimee, is an undergraduate student from Bangkok, Thailand, currently studying Climate Studies and Public Policy at Vanderbilt University in the United States. Deeply passionate about climate justice and educational equity, she has been actively involved in youth advocacy at the national and international levels, including advising the UN Human Rights Council and founding a youth volunteering initiative that has impacted over 1,000 students in Thailand. Her leadership and commitment to social change have earned her several prestigious full-ride scholarships.
She received offers for five full-ride or full-tuition scholarships: the Chancellor’s Scholarship at Vanderbilt University (USA), the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship at the University of Toronto (Canada), the Freeman Asian Scholarship at Wesleyan University (USA), the King Morgridge Scholarship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison (USA), and the Emerging Global Leader Scholarship at American University (USA).
