Yes. IELTS is mandatory to apply for a scholarship.
How Did You Prepare to Apply for the Chevening Scholarship?
I started writing essays demonstrating my leadership, networking, academic, and professional skills. I kept on improving them every 2 – 3 days. Meanwhile, I shortlisted my desired course and universities in the UK and started applying for admission according to the eligibility criteria and IELTS requirements of each university. Consistency is key throughout the application process.

My experience at King's College London as a Chevening scholar has been life-changing. It transformed my professional outlook and personal mindset to think out-of-box.
How Do You Rate King’s College London Academically?

What Did You Pursue After the Chevening Scholarship?
Since I was in contract with the UK Government that I would serve my home country for 2 years post-studies, I came back to Pakistan and resumed my job.

My extensive public-sector work experience of 15 years in area of my chosen course had played a vital role in making my application stand out.
