The Journey

My name is Mohammed Abduelhamed Abboh Adam. I am originally from Sudan and have a background in Agricultural Engineering. From a young age, I have been passionate about environmental sustainability, food security, and the role of agriculture in social development. This passion led me to pursue a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Environmental Management Engineering at the University of Debrecen in Hungary. My decision to further my education in this field was fueled by my desire to contribute meaningfully to solving pressing global issues like hunger, climate change, and sustainable agriculture.

Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Details

I was awarded the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship 2018-2020 by the Hungarian Government. The scholarship covered my full tuition fees, provided a monthly stipend, accommodation support, and health insurance for the entire duration of my studies at the University of Debrecen.

Were You Offered any Other Scholarships?

Yes. I was also offered the Romanian Government Scholarship 2021 to pursue a Ph.D. in Food Engineering. Although I was honored to receive this opportunity, I ultimately declined the offer due to personal priorities.

Educational Background

I earned my Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Khartoum, graduating with First Class Honors (GPA: 7.18/10). My undergraduate studies provided a solid foundation in agricultural systems, machinery, and irrigation. This academic background, coupled with field experience, equipped me well for advanced studies in agricultural environmental management.
