Ahmed Salah Abdelmawla Elsayed Mohamed from Egypt earned an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in Marine Environment and Resources (MER2030), studying across the University of Bordeaux (France), University of the Basque Country (Spain), and University of Liège (Belgium), and completing his thesis at AZTI – Marine Research in Spain. He holds a Bachelor’s in Fish Processing and Biotechnology from Kafrelsheikh University and a Master’s in Biological Oceanography from Alexandria University. His MER2030 track focused on marine biotechnology, bioinformatics, and molecular ecology, and he was selected from 717 applicants for one of only 23 scholarships awarded.
