I want to apply for Beijing Government Scholarships 2026 (Full Tuition) scholarship to do my master degree in English. Does a Chinese language exam HSK is required even if I’m going to study in English? Or only English accepted test is required ? and what is the range of the result I should get in the English exam test like IELTS, Tofel, or Duolingo tests?

Hello, if you are studying in an English medium, you don’t need to submit HSK. I would recommend getting at least 7.5 on the IELTs or 100 on the TOEFL to be competitive.
