Tier One Scholarship Coverage

This fully funded scholarship for international students covers the following:

  • 100% tuition fee for four years
  • 2 years on-campus stay with meal plan
  • $1,000 stipend to support undergraduate research and guidance when competing for national and international fellowships and scholarships
  • $2,000 stipend to support study abroad

Tier One Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Having a 1400 SAT or 30 ACT composite score
  • Ranking top 10% in class

If you meet the eligibility criteria for University of Houston and Tier One Scholarship, you can move forward with the application process!

Remember to apply for admission to University of Houston first before applying for Tier One Scholarship. You can visit the official website found in University of Houston Admissions Section to see the admissions application process.

A separate scholarship application – in addition to University of Houston admission – is needed for Tier One Scholarship. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

  • Tier One Scholarship online application
  • Letter of recommendation
