This partially funded scholarship for international students covers SEK 15,000 for study costs.

The Emérita Sixto Lugo Scholarship (ESL) Eligibility Criteria

  • Mexican nationals
  • Having a previous or ongoing studies at a Mexican university
  • With a GPA of at least 7.0 (Mexican higher institution) or its equivalent
  • Applying or admitted to a full-time programme (minimum 30 ECTS/semester) at bachelor's or master's
  • Applying or admitted to at least one of the following subjects: Business studies, Marketing, Management, Economics, Engineering, Design

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for The Emérita Sixto Lugo Scholarship (ESL). You’ll have to collect these requirements:

  • Motivation letter (max 1,500 words)

Once you have those ready, follow these steps to submit your scholarship application and requirements:

  1. Prepare your motivation letter which should include how your studies in Sweden will benefit your future, what you expect to learn from the challenges of interdisciplinary and intercultural collaboration, what your innovative ideas regarding how you will make use of your opportunity to study in Sweden, and how you have incorporated knowledge on additional academic disciplines to your main field of study
  2. Submit your application together with other requirements via email.
