Scholarships for International Students Coverage

This partially funded scholarship for international students covers the following:

  • An award of NT$100,000 for Type I awardees
  • An award of NT$60,000 for Type II awardees
  • An award of NT$20,000 for Type III awardees

Scholarships for International Students Eligibility Criteria

  • Not recipients of the Taiwan Government Scholarship
  • Economically disadvantaged (priority)

Scholarships for International Students Application Process

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for Scholarships for International Students. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Study plan
  • Personal statement
  • Copy of master thesis (for PhD applicants)

Once you have those ready, follow these steps to submit your scholarship application and requirements:

  1. Prepare a study plan for your program of choice.
  2. Write a personal statement (300-500 words).
  3. Secure letters of recommendation from two references.
