This partially funded scholarship for international students covers 50% or 100% tuition fee waiver.

Scholarship for Outstanding International Students Eligibility Criteria

• Below 40 years old (if Phd level)
• Below 35 years old (if master's level)
• Below 25 years old (if undergraduate level)
• Having good academic and scientific capabilities
• NOT recipients of a Chinese government-funded scholarship
• Having 180+ points in HSK Level 6 (if studying a Chinese-taught PhD program)
• Having 180+ points in HSK Level 5 (if studying a Chinese-taught master's program)
• Having 210+ points in HSK Level 4 (if studying a Chinese-taught bachelor's program)
• Having an IELTS 6.0 band and with TOEFL scores of 80 points or above (if studying English-taught programs)

Scholarship for Outstanding International Students Application Process

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for Scholarship for Outstanding International Students. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

1. Log into SDUW online application system for international students.
2. Fill out and sign the application form.
3. Upload the form on the application system.
