Presidential Scholarship Coverage

This fully funded scholarship for international students covers the following:

  • Tuition and fees
  • Board and Lodging
  • Books

Presidential Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Incoming freshmen with a minimum 3.9 GPA and ranked in the top 10% of their graduating batch
  • International students with a 1330+ SAT or 29+ score

Presidential Scholarship Application Process

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for Presidential Scholarship. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

  • Resume
  • 500 word essay answering the required prompts
  • 2 to 3 reference contacts

Once you have those ready, follow these steps to submit your scholarship application and requirements:

  1. Be accepted for admission to Lamar University.
  2. Submit a resume, an essay, and provide 2 to 3 contacts for references.
