President Scholarship Coverage

This fully funded scholarship for international students covers the following:

  • 100% tuition fee waiver
  • 3,500 RMB monthly stipend
  • 1,000 RMB monthly award for accommodation

President Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Under 40 years at the time of application
  • Of good health and without any criminal record
  • Solid academic background and potential for research
  • Having a score of 210 in HSK 5 (if applying to Chinese-taught programs)
  • Having a band score of 6.5 in the IELTS (if applying to English-taught programs)

President Scholarship Application Process

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for President Scholarship. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

  • Passport
  • Application form
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Foreigner Physical Examination form
  • Original or notarized degree certificates
  • Language proficiency scores or certificates
  • Original or notarized no criminal certificate
  • Undergraduate and master's academic transcripts
  • Two recommendation letters from academic professors
  • Statement of research intent explaining why you want to go to this university
  • 2000-word research proposal detailing the background, objectives, and methodology of your research
  • Other supporting documents (example: academic awards, experience summary, research publications)

Once you have those ready, follow these steps to submit your scholarship application and requirements:

  3. Submit all documents and forms.
