Out of State Waivers Coverage

This partially funded scholarship for international students covers 25% to 100% out-of-state tuition waivers. It has three types of competitive Out-of-State Waivers: the 100% Presidential Out-of-State Waiver, the 50% Scholastic Out-of-State Waiver, and the 25% Academic Out-of-State Waiver.

Out of State Waivers Eligibility Criteria

  • To qualify for the 100% Presidential Out of State Waiver, applicants must meet one of the following requirements: an RSAT score of 600 or higher in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and 570 or higher in Math; an ACT composite score of 24 or higher in both English and Math; or a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
  • To qualify for the 50% Scholastic Out of State Waiver, applicants must meet one of the following criteria: an RSAT score of 540 or higher in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and 530 or higher in Math; an ACT composite score of 20 or higher in both English and Math; or a cumulative GPA between 3.00 and 3.24.
  • To qualify for the 25% Academic Out of State Waiver, applicants must meet one of the following criteria: an RSAT score of 480 or higher in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) and 450 or higher in Math; an ACT composite score of 17 or higher in both English and Math; or a cumulative GPA between 2.8 and 2.99.

  • Personal statement explaining the merits of your application and how the scholarship would benefit you and your plans at the university
