Master’s Grants Coverage

This partially funded scholarship for international students covers the following:

  • Monthly allowance of CHF 1,600 payable for 10 months every year for the duration of the program
  • Exemption from paying course registration fees

Master’s Grants Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate of a non-Swiss university
  • Proficient in French or English at a language level of at least C1 according to the CEFR rating
  • Not registered at the University of Lausanne
  • Not a student of medicine, law, physical education, health science, sustainable management and technology

If you meet the eligibility criteria for University of Lausanne and Master’s Grants, you can move forward with the application process!

Remember to apply for admission to University of Lausanne first before applying for Master’s Grants. You can visit the official website found in University of Lausanne Admissions Section to see the admissions application process.

Master’s Grants Application Process

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for Master’s Grants. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

  • CV with applicant's photograph
  • Motivation Letter
  • Copy of the University Diploma
  • Copy of the Official Language Certificate
  • Copy of Secondary School or High School Certificate
  • Copy of the student's International Passport
  • Two Recommendation Letters
  • Proof of Payment of the Administrative Fee

Once you have those ready, follow these steps to submit your scholarship application and requirements:

  1. Pay the administrative fee
  2. Secure an application form for the scholarship from the Master's Grants portal
  3. Complete the application form
  4. Upload the application form with all the required documents to the application portal
