The Jefferson Fellowship is an independent merit-based scholarship and fellowship program at the University of Virginia. It awards students from all over the world who show distinctive qualities of being a leader, such as decisiveness, being ethical, and having an excellent academic background. Successful grantees are expected to contribute to the community by sharing their knowledge and conducting passion projects.

Jefferson Fellowships Coverage

This full tuition scholarship for international students covers the following:

  • 100% of tuition fees
  • A $20,000 living stipend
  • Health insurance
  • An additional $7,000 to cover various academic expenses
