ISS Merit Scholarship Coverage

This partially funded scholarship for international students covers up to $16,000 USD awards annually, renewable for up to 4 years.

ISS Merit Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

• In possession of a valid non-immigrant visa status
• Newly admitted international students pursuing initial Bachelor's degree, with cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher

ISS Merit Scholarship Application Procedure

If you meet the eligibility criteria for Old Dominion University and ISS Merit Scholarship, you can move forward with the application process!

Remember to apply for admission to Old Dominion University first before applying for ISS Merit Scholarship. You can visit the official website found in Old Dominion University Admissions Section to see the admissions application process.

A separate scholarship application – in addition to Old Dominion University admission – is needed for ISS Merit Scholarship. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

• A one page essay stating your academic intent and personal goals
• TOEFL and SAT scores (optional)

For ISS Merit Scholarship, you may apply on these dates:

• Scholarship Application Deadline (Spring) : October 1, 2024
• Scholarship Application Deadline (Fall) : April 15, 2025
