Graduate Research Assistantship Coverage

This partially funded scholarship for international students covers the following:

  • Up to a RM 1,500 monthly stipend
  • Up to RM 1,200 as a tuition fee waiver per semester for Master's students
  • Up to RM 1,600 as a tuition fee waiver per semester for PhD students
  • Research grant of at least RM 15,000

Graduate Research Assistantship Application Process

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for Graduate Research Assistantship. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

  • Copy of Research Grant Approval Letter
  • Letter of Validation from the Head of Research Project
  • Online Application Form

Once you have those ready, follow these steps to submit your scholarship application and requirements:

  1. Obtain the approval from the Advisor, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, Head of Research Project, or the Dean of the Faculty
  2. Complete the Online Application Form via the student portal
  3. Submit the documents along with the application
