Graduate Assistantships Coverage

This partially funded scholarship for international students covers the following:

  • A tuition waiver for up to 8 credit hours
  • A maximum stipend of $43,176 per academic year for Science and Mathematics teaching assistants
  • A maximum stipend of $36,696 per academic year for Ethnomusicology and Music teaching assistants
  • Two thirds of the recipient's health insurance costs

  • You just need to be an international Master's and Ph.D. student or applicant of Wesleyan University.

Graduate Assistantships Application Process

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for Graduate Assistantships. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

  • Fill out the W-4 and CT W-4 tax forms
  • Fill out the I-9 employment form

Once you have those ready, follow these steps to submit your scholarship application and requirements:

  1. Make an appointment with the university's senior accountant/tax specialist to discuss tax status

Graduate Assistantships Deadlines

The great news is that there is no specific deadline to apply for Graduate Assistantships! While there are no specific dates, it’s important to apply before the Wesleyan University admission deadlines. Here are the deadlines:
