Global Scientists and Engineers Program Coverage

This fully funded scholarship for international students covers the following:

  • Monthly stipend worth JPY 120,000 for MEXT awardees
  • Full tuition fee waiver for MEXT awardees
  • Travel costs to and from Japan for MEXT awardees
  • Monthly stipend worth JPY 48,000 for JASSO awardees

Global Scientists and Engineers Program Application Process

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for Global Scientists and Engineers Program. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

    Age is limiting some of us, but we qualify in all other requirement. Kindly adjust age limit.

      Hello, for government scholarships like MEXT, they have age limits, and it is up to them to adjust it. There are however, many other scholarships other than MEXT that do not have age limits. Check out Best Scholarships in Japan for more information.
