  • With a valid master's degree
  • In good health and with a valid passport
  • Having proof of language proficiency in their chosen program's medium of instruction

Fellowship for Doctoral Programs Application Process

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for Fellowship for Doctoral Programs. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

  • Photocopy of passport
  • Minimum 800-word study or research proposal
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Two letters of recommendation from academic professors
  • Foreigner physical examination form
  • Level 4 or above HSK certificate (for Chinese-taught program students only)
  • Photocopy of IELTS or TOEFL results (for English-taught program students)
  • Photocopy of all degree certificates
  • Photocopy of bachelor's and master's academic transcripts

Once you have those ready, follow these steps to submit your scholarship application and requirements:

  1. Create an online application account.
  2. Provide information required by the account.
  3. Compile documents and submit them through the account.
