Competitive Scholarships for International Students Coverage

This partially funded scholarship for international students covers the following:

  • $8,000 per year (total of $32,000) for McCoy Scholarship of Excellence recipients
  • $5,500 per year (total of $22,000) for University Scholars
  • $5,000 per year (total of $20,000) for McCoy Scholarship of Distinction recipients and Patti Strickel Harrison Scholarship recipients
  • $2,500 per year (total of $10,000) for Lone Star Scholarship recipients
  • $2,000 per year (total of $8,000) for Chartwell's Undergraduate Scholarship recipients

Competitive Scholarships for International Students Eligibility Criteria

  • Business majors and National Merit commended, semifinalist or finalist, valedictorian or salutatorian, or Top 5% of graduation class for aspiring McCoy Scholarship of Excellence recipients
  • Business majors and National Merit commended, semifinalist or finalist, valedictorian or salutatorian, or Top 10% of graduation class for aspiring McCoy Scholarship of Distinction recipients
  • Part of the Top 10% of graduating class for aspiring University Scholars and Lone Star Scholarship recipients
  • Mathematics, engineering, science, computer science, musical theatre, or dance and music major demonstrating financial need and Top 10% of graduating class for aspiring Patti Strickel Harrison Scholarship recipients
  • Qualifiers for the President's Honor Scholarship, be admitted by March 1, and completed Texas State Scholarship application via BOSS by December 15 for aspiring Chartwell's Undergraduate Scholarship recipients

  2. Submit Freshman Scholarship Application via the Bobcat Online Scholarship System BOSS by December 15
