Belt and Road Scholarship Program Coverage

This fully funded scholarship for international students covers the following:

  • Full tuition fees
  • A yearly stipend of RMB 300,000

Belt and Road Scholarship Program Eligibility Criteria

  • Holding an HSK score of 5
  • Demonstrating academic excellence and physical fitness
  • Under the age of 18 years old before the application date

Belt and Road Scholarship Program Application Process

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for Belt and Road Scholarship Program. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

  • A copy of your passport
  • High school graduation certificate
  • Recommendation Letters
  • Chinese language proficiency certificate
  • Academic transcripts
  • Personal statement
  • Scholarship application form

Once you have those ready, follow these steps to submit your scholarship application and requirements:

  1. Visit the Office of International Students’ Affairs website.
  2. Register and go to the section "Application".
  3. Select the “Belt and Road” Scholarship Program for International Students (Bachelor’s Degree).
  4. Submit the necessary requirements.
