Art Major Asian Plus (AMA+) Scholarship Coverage

This full tuition scholarship for international students covers the following:

  • Full tuition coverage
  • A monthly allowance of 800,000 KRW
  • A sum of 200,000 KRW as settlement allowance
  • A sum of up to 1,000,000 KRW as graduation thesis allowance
  • A monthly sum of 100,000 KRW for one year as Korean Proficiency Grants
  • Korea’s National Health Insurance coverage
  • Intensive language training for 6 months before entrance
  • Airfare expenses

Art Major Asian Plus (AMA+) Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Citizens of an OECD DAC Country
  • Graduates of secondary education or bachelor's degree
  • With the required level of Korean proficiency
  • Able to demonstrate the required artistic skills and talents

Art Major Asian Plus (AMA+) Scholarship Application Process

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for Art Major Asian Plus (AMA+) Scholarship. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

  • Application
  • Personal Statement
  • Study Plan
  • Personal Medical Assessment
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • Letter of Consent
  • Official High School Diploma
  • Official Diploma Certificate from a previously enrolled institution
  • Official High School/University Academic Transcript
  • Copy of Passport of applicant and both parents
  • Proof of nationality of the applicant and their parents
  • Proof of Language Proficiency
  • Portfolio
  • Work Experiences, Award and/or other Achievement (Optional)

Once you have those ready, follow these steps to submit your scholarship application and requirements:

  1. Go to the online application link provided on the scholarship page.
  2. Complete the form and fill out all the necessary details.
  3. Prepare all the required documents and make sure that they comply with the scholarship instructions.
  4. Upload the documents on your online application.
  5. After checking, submit your application. After submitting, you are no longer allowed to make any changes.
