My name is Sohani Sahar, and I am from Tehran, Iran. I am currently a PhD student at Yonsei University, South Korea. I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial engineering from Iran. I have got my master's degree from AmirKabir University.

Additionally, many universities in South Korea offer their own internal scholarships, and my university also provides several scholarship options beyond Samsung.

Yes, I took the IELTS (band score 7) exam while preparing to apply to Korean universities. I prepared by practicing academic reading, writing, listening, and speaking, and by familiarizing myself with the test format and requirements of Korean institutions.

If I were going through the process again, I would start preparing my documents earlier and seek feedback on my application materials sooner.
