These experiences, combined with my legal education and independent work as an attorney, have prepared me to excel in navigating complex international regulations and contributed significantly to my readiness for advanced studies in Maritime Law.
How Did You Prepare to Apply to the University of Southampton?
I approached the application process methodically. I researched programs that aligned with my career goals by reviewing university websites, reaching out to alumni, and attending virtual events. I focused on programs that emphasized practical skills and global perspectives in maritime and shipping law. I am someone who can truly stand out in a room, not just because of my knowledge and skills but because of my ability to communicate authentically, foster collaboration, and inspire confidence in those around me. What Would You Have Done Differently If You Were Going Through the Process Again?
If I were to go through the process again, I would focus on truly enjoying every step of the journey. These experiences are as valuable as the degree itself, and one should ensure too fully present for all of them.
