How did you hear about GlobalScholarships.com External Scholarship?

I heard about it from one of my LinkedIn connections encouraging people to apply.

How was the application process of the GlobalScholarships.com External Scholarships and how did you prepare for it?

The application process was rather straightforward and user-friendly. I have a document that I keep full of my achievements and anything else that I think is noteworthy about myself, and I think this helps the application process as it can be difficult to remember everything you have done, especially if some achievements seem small.

Have you received other scholarships from your university or other organizations?

I received the Rutherford Scholarship and Entrance Scholarships during my Undergraduate degree, these were both academic merit-based. I also won second runner-up in the Opterus “Rebel With a Cause” award which awards outside-of-the-box thinking.

What do you advise other students, whether it be for this scholarship or for other external scholarships?

Take the time to put in effort and fine-tune your scholarship applications. It can feel monotonous and repetitive, especially if you are applying to many, but these organizations want you to tell them what you are capable of. It is your opportunity to show them how amazing you are! On the same note, don’t try to be humble or downplay your achievements, you have worked hard and deserve the benefits
