As one of the nation’s 50 largest public universities, WSU offers a diverse array of undergraduate and graduate programs across various disciplines. The university is committed to fostering innovation, community engagement, and academic excellence, providing students with a dynamic urban learning environment enriched by its strong emphasis on research and practical experience.

To support students financially, WSU provides several scholarship opportunities. For undergraduate students, the Academic Scholarships offer partial funding, including the Warrior Award, which provides up to $6,500 per year for four consecutive years; the Gold Award, offering up to $4,500 annually; and the Green Award, granting up to $2,500 per year. Graduate students at WSU can benefit from Graduate Assistantships, which offer comprehensive support including full tuition coverage for up to 10 graduate credits during the fall and winter semesters and 2 graduate credits in the spring/summer semester. Additionally, these assistantships provide monthly stipends and subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance, enabling students to focus on their studies and research without financial burden.
