For international undergraduate admission, the main documents usually include the university application form, financial affidavit, letter of consent, proof of graduation, official transcripts, academic verification documents, passport copy, identification documents for the applicant and parents or guardians, and family relationship documents. In many cases, academic records from outside Korea must also be apostilled or officially verified, and documents not written in Korean or English may need certified translation.
For graduate admission, applicants are generally expected to submit transcripts and graduation records from their previous degree programs. If the applicant transferred during earlier study, transcripts from previous institutions may also be required.
The recipient stories also show that successful scholarship applications often require more than the standard forms. For example, Samuel Muobom Saabome emphasized “building relationships with professors because you will need that letter of recommendation,” and he said that one of the most important steps was “crafting a clear and authentic personal statement.”
