To be eligible for Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • Born after December 31, 1988
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree graduate before July 31, 2024
  • Highly qualified students who have not been to Switzerland (for Research Scholarship)
  • Excellent young artists without Master's degree (for Art Scholarship)
  • Citizens of countries with which Switzerland has a reciprocity agreement (for Art Scholarship)

Art Scholarship is only eligible to citizens of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, United States of America. Applications for Art Scholarship for a second master’s degree are invalid.
