The PTDF Overseas Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme funds Nigerians studying approved Master’s and PhD programmes linked to the oil and gas industry at selected institutions in the UK, Germany, France, and Malaysia. UK PhD students split their studies between the College of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Kaduna (CPESK), and designated UK partner universities.

  • Master's: First degree with at least Second Class Upper (2.1), or Second Class Lower (2.2) with relevant industry experience
  • PhD: First degree with at least Second Class Lower (2.2) and a good postgraduate degree
