The Journey

My name is Sanower Rehman, and I am originally from Pakistan. I come from an engineering background and have always been deeply interested in how technology and innovation can be used to create sustainable and meaningful impact in society. After completing my bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from NED University, I spent several years working full-time in industry, which shaped my perspective and strengthened my desire to return to academia. That professional experience eventually motivated me to pursue advanced education in engineering and sustainability, leading me on a journey from Pakistan to Finland.

On a personal level, I’m a talkative, fun‑loving, and people‑oriented person who truly enjoys interacting with individuals from diverse cultures. Community service is very close to my heart, which is why I remain actively involved in mentoring students, organizing events, and supporting international communities.
