Anagha Anilkumar from India is a 2023 Erasmus Mundus Scholar pursuing a Master’s in Health Management in Aquaculture (EMJM AQUAH). This program, jointly conducted by Ghent University (Belgium), Wageningen University (Netherlands), NTNU (Norway), and the University of Barcelona (Spain), provides specialized training in aquatic animal health, disease prevention, and sustainable aquaculture practices. Anagha completed her first semester at Ghent University and selected NTNU for her subsequent semesters due to its focus on ecosystem and health management in aquaculture.
Anagha’s strong academic background in Fishery Science, combined with practical experience in seed production, research, and biotechnology, helped her secure this highly competitive award. She was also offered a partial scholarship for another Erasmus Mundus program, ACES-STAR, but chose AQUAH for its alignment with her research interests.
