There are plenty of scholarship opportunities available worldwide. To secure one, you have to dedicate a significant amount of time searching through the many scholarships. The best approach is to narrow it down to the country that you want and then the field. Furthermore, universities also offer their own scholarships for certain programs, so a student can search their university of interest for these. I explored scholarship and university opportunities that matched my interest in development economics and finance and postgraduate study in the United Kingdom. Chevening stood out because of its strong leadership focus, global alumni network, and alignment with my professional aspirations.

Did You Take Any Standardized Tests? If So, How Did You Prepare for Them?

Yes, I took the IELTS language test. In order to pass them, I enrolled in the English language class offered by the British Council in my country and bought study books for self-study. To prepare for the Fulbright, I undertook the TOEFL and DUOLINGO Tests
