1. Czech Technical University Scholarships

The Czech Technical University in Prague is one of the largest and oldest technical universities in the world. It offers CTU scholarships to eligible foreign students taking master’s and doctoral study programs.
This scholarship in the Czech Republic is funded by the university. For master’s students, the scholarship is normally awarded for 1 to 2 semesters and may be extended if the student shows excellent study results. For doctoral students, the scholarship is awarded for 6 to 12 months and may be extended if the student shows excellent work outcomes. Students must submit the scholarship application through the International Office at their faculty after receiving faculty approval.
Please note that Erasmus students, Erasmus Mundus students, exchange students, CTU foreign students receiving a government scholarship, and other scholarship holders are not eligible for this CTU scholarship.
2. Charles University – Computer Science Tuition Fee Scholarships

The Charles University Faculty of Mathematics and Physics offers a limited number of Computer Science Tuition Fee Scholarships to highly qualified applicants for the English-taught Bachelor’s and Master’s Programs in Computer Science. Starting from academic year 2026/2027, up to six scholarships are available for bachelor’s students and up to two scholarships are available for master’s students.
To apply for this Czech Republic scholarship, applicants must apply for the relevant Computer Science program through the Student Information System of Charles University, pay the application fee, and submit the required scholarship documents. These include a curriculum vitae, motivation letter, transcript of records, scholarship application statement, two letters of recommendation, and other applicable documents. Documents should be written in or translated into English, and the scholarship application should be sent by email as instructed on the official scholarship page.
The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics makes the scholarship decision based on academic excellence. Successful scholarship candidates must study full-time and meet the program completion and credit requirements.
3. Erasmus Joint Master’s Scholarships

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Program is a prestigious European Union initiative that supports top international students seeking integrated 1- to 2-academic-year master’s degrees. These programs are jointly designed and delivered by a consortium of at least three higher education institutions from at least three different countries.
Full scholarships are available for the best-ranked students worldwide. Scholarship holders are not charged tuition fees or other mandatory participation costs, and the student scholarship is calculated at €1,400 per month for the duration of the master’s program. The scholarship contributes to travel, visa, installation, and subsistence costs. Participating universities vary by program and year, so applicants should confirm Czech partner universities in the official Erasmus Mundus catalogue before applying.

4. Government Scholarship – Developing Countries

The Government Scholarship for Developing Countries is offered by the Government of the Czech Republic within the framework of its Foreign Development Cooperation. It is implemented through a joint program of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. This scholarship in the Czech Republic supports foreign nationals from eligible developing and specific third countries who study at public higher education institutions in the Czech Republic.
For the 2026/2027 academic year, eligible countries were Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus (democratic forces), Ethiopia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Zambia, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Guatemala, and Jordan. Scholarships are designed to cover the standard length of full-time study. In Czech-language programs, eligible study options include selected bachelor’s programs for applicants from Georgia, selected follow-up master’s programs for applicants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Ukraine, and Belarus, and a one-year Czech language preparatory course. In English-language programs, eligible applicants from all eligible countries may apply for selected follow-up master’s programs and selected doctoral programs.
