My name is Zohaib, and I am originally from Pakistan. I am currently pursuing a PhD at Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom as a recipient of the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission scholarship. My research focuses on developing functional textile materials with photocatalytic properties, contributing to improved air quality and sustainable environmental solutions.

I chose to pursue advanced study in this area because textile engineering is evolving beyond conventional applications into smart and functional materials that address global environmental and health challenges.
