Looking Back, Would You Have Done Anything Differently During Your Time in the Program?

If I were to go through the process again, I would begin my preparation even earlier. It is easy to fall into the trap of waiting for the "perfect time" or a flawless resume to apply, but starting the dialogue and drafting proposals early is invaluable.
