Hello, I have one MBA from Mysore University, India and want to get one more master from USA universities. If I apply for the scholarship do I have any priority as I already have one master. For instance, can I apply and get admission without getting TOFEL? Can you suggest universities that do not require language test?
Hello, I don’t believe that a previous degree will be much of a benefit to you when you apply for a Master’s at UT Austin. Regarding the language proficiency exam like TOEFL, I do think that they will waive it for your if you have studied your previous degree in English, which is your case. Most universities do, but check with the universities.
Hi, I’m from Nigeria. Although, I don’t have a Masters degree yet. Please, can I apply directly for a PhD program at UT, Austin?
Yes, students can apply straight to US Ph.D. without a bachelor’s. Actually, it is advised that students do that if they know they want to get a Ph.D. at the end.
Hi there. I am a parent from Kenya having my twin daughters in high school. They have the passion of studying medicine abroad soon after completing their high school studies.
I am financially challenged. How can they get full scholarship?
Thank you.
Hello, first of all, medical schools in the US, including medical school at UT Austin, is a graduate program, and you need undergraduate degree to apply. Second, it is extremely difficult for international students to study medicine in the first place. I highly recommend that you go to medical schools taught in English for international students and countries to study medicine for international students to get started on your search.
Hello, how can apply for Master’s degree?
Hello, please see the UT Admissions Section.
Hi, I am a student of Biochemistry and molecular biology in Nigeria. I haven’t got my final transcript but will be rounding up this November. Please can I still apply for the graduate assistantship?
Hello yes, graduate programs in UT Austin starts in August, so you will be fine. You just have to graduate by May to start the program on August. There’s no separate application for graduate assistantships, and just a note, it is extremely difficult to get Graduate Assistantships as a Master’s student since the funding first goes to Ph.D. students. You can apply straight to Ph.D. programs from bachelor’s, and there are actually many departments who do not offer Master’s program, just fyi.
Hello, I have my master’s degree from Almustafa University in Afghanistan and want to get my PHD from USA universities. If I apply for the scholarship, do I have any priority as I have a Bachelor’s in English language and Master’s in public administration? For instance, can I apply and get admission without getting TOFEL? Can you suggest universities that do not require language test?
Hello, regarding UT Austin Ph.D, almost all Ph.D students are fully funded at the school and there’s no separate application procedure for scholarships. You just need to apply for admissions and get admitted. Regarding priority, no, you don’t have any priorities with those degrees, and you do need English proficiency Test scores unless you meet their exemption criteria. I can’t think of any university that does not require English proficiency scores for Ph.D.
I am a Nigerian, and can I apply for an undergraduate in International Relations?
Yes, UT Austin does offer international relations, and there’s no citizenship restrictions.
I’m from Pakistan recently done BS with Biotech. I want to pursue my career in Bioinformatics. May I be able to get admission in PhD after BS in the bioinformatics?
Thank you.
Yes, I’m not sure if UT Austin does offer Ph.D. in bioinformatics specifically, but you can apply to Ph.D. straight from bachelor’s in the United States.
I am interested in PhD program in the institution, is there Agricultural Communication or Education program?
Hello, I don’t think UT Austin offers Agricultural Communication but they do offer Education programs.
Hi there, I have completed bachelor degree in United Arab Emirates in English, in a UK university two and half years ago, can i do Ph.D. without having Master and without any English test? Thank you!
Yeah, for most departments, you will be able to do Ph.D. without Master’s. In addition, they will waive the English language requirements if your previous degree was in English at an English-dominant country
