Kyiv Medical University of UAFM is now commonly referred to as Kyiv Medical University. It is a private medical university in Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine, and was founded in 1992. The university offers programs in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Industrial Pharmacy.
The official Medicine program is a full-time, 360-ECTS program that lasts 5 years and 10 months and may be studied in Ukrainian or English. For 2025–2026, the university lists English-medium Medicine in Ukraine at US$4,000 per year, or US$24,000 total. Other language and campus options have different fees.
Kyiv Medical University reports a student body of more than 3,900 people, including interns, and a significant share of international students. Applicants should confirm the latest campus, delivery-mode, and admissions information directly with the university before applying.
2. Zaporozhye State Medical University

Zaporozhye State Medical University is now officially listed as Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University. It is one of Ukraine’s long-established medical institutions and traces its roots to 1903.
The university offers accredited programs in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and related fields. For foreign students in 2025–2026, the English-medium Medicine program is listed as 5 years and 10 months.
The official tuition page lists English-medium Medicine at US$4,500 per year for years 1–3 and US$5,000 per year for years 4–6, for a total of US$28,500. 3. Ternopil State Medical University
- Tuition fee: US$24,000 total for the 2025–2026 English-medium General Medicine program
Ternopil State Medical University is now I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. The university’s official history states that the institution was founded in 1957 as Ternopil Medical Institute and was later named after Ivan Horbachevsky.
The university’s international-student fee page lists General Medicine as an MD/Medical Doctor degree equivalent to MBBS. For 2025–2026, English-medium General Medicine is listed as 5 years and 10 months, with tuition of US$3,500 for the first year and US$4,100 for each of years 2–6, totaling US$24,000.
Ternopil National Medical University reports more than 7,000 students, including more than 2,000 international students from 60 countries. It offers programs in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and nursing-related fields.
