Advanced to PhD candidacy
Minimum 3.5 GPA
Enrolled at Howard University
Must complete a 15-hour weekly administrative internship

Esther Ottley Fellowship Application Process

A separate scholarship application – in addition to the university admission – is needed for Esther Ottley Fellowship. You’ll have to collect these requirements:

Fellowship application form
Howard University transcript
Approved candidacy form
Statement of interest in educational leadership
Three recommendation letters
One recommendation from a public service or humanitarian experience
Two faculty recommendations addressing academic achievement and leadership
