Study Costs at Bond University

Bond University operates as a private university; therefore, there is a certain range of tuition fees every international student must pay for the university’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Bond proudly shares that the costs for each program are spent for the university as a not-for-profit institution.

Bond University may have different academic expenses and costs for international students depending on the degree of study or the number of semesters in a program.

Application Costs

Unlike many universities, Bond University does not require any application fee for its applicants. All types of applications can be submitted for free, and students are not obliged to accept a place when offered.

The university gives applicants opportunities to try their chances and apply for the programs they wish. Successful applicants pay for the tuition fees and other costs once they accept the university’s offer.

Also, its undergraduate programs have a three-semester-per-year schedule, meaning a student finishes their degree a year ahead of their peers and can gain work experience in the workplace immediately.

Tuition Fee Costs

Tuition fees for undergraduate and graduate levels may depend on the field of study or duration. Bond University applies a semester system to determine a program’s total tuition fees, which makes the entire educational expenses of undergraduate and graduate programs different.

Bachelor’s Tuition Costs

Tuition fees for bachelor’s degrees are mostly $21,600 per semester with a duration of six semesters. Yet, for specific programs, the duration or per semester rate can differ and change the total tuition fee costs of the program.

For instance, many programs, such as Bachelor of Social Sciences, charge international students $21,600 per semester and $129,600 in a total of six semesters, whereas another bachelor’s program, such as Bachelor of Laws, can charge the same amount per semester and $172,800 in a total of eight semesters.

A three-semester program for the Master of International Relations costs $48,900 in total, with a semester rate of $16,300, whereas a four-semester program for the Master of Architecture costs $92,860 in total. Each master’s program has its regulations and requirements; therefore, international applicants are strongly advised to visit the program-specific pages from the university’s catalog.

Ph.D. Tuition Costs

Bond University encourages innovative research at the Ph.D. level with the Doctor of Legal Sciences program. The annual program educational expenses for international students are $41,170, with a total cost of $164,680; however, individual scheduling differences may affect the amount. Applicants should visit the program’s website for additional fees and specific conditions.

Other Academic Costs at Bond University

Studying in a different country means having additional costs to take into account. International students should also find ways to lower their living costs apart from tuition fees. This way, they will not be burdened with unnecessary finances during their stay.

Books and Miscellaneous Expenses

Degree students need to have access to the materials on and outside the campus. Bond University has a rich source of textbooks and digital sources for its students; to access the study materials, students should set aside around $300 per semester.

Accommodation and Transportation

One of the expenses international students would need to budget is accommodation. It is always a vital issue for international students as they need to have easy access to the campus in the most practical ways. Bond University offers a variety of options for international students to reside on-campus, off-campus, or home-staying. On-campus options typically cost from $2,775 to $4,350 per student and semester.
