The Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AAI) is a program that supports orphaned students from sub-Saharan Africa to become future leaders. It provides scholarships for international university degrees, leadership training, and other support. Since 2014, AAI has supported students from 48 of the 49 sub-Saharan African countries.

  • Demonstrating an exceptional academic performance with a top 10% class ranking in the final 2-3 years of secondary school and university, if applicable.
  • Proficient in French
  • Unable to afford international university education without financial assistance.
