Many great ventures in world history have been named after more than one individual, including ice cream maker Ben & Jerry’s, power tools manufacturer Black & Decker, and probably the most popular cleaning products producer in the world – Procter & Gamble. As its name shows, this university was named after George Washington – the first President of the U.S. and one of the nation’s Founding Fathers, and Robert E. Lee. In this article, we will be looking at the acceptance rate at Washington and Lee University.

Founded in 1749 in Lexington, Virginia, Washington and Lee University is the ninth oldest higher education establishment in the United States.
