In 2019, it shared the coveted 11th spot with the National University of Singapore on the list of the top global universities by QS World Rankings.

Nanyang Technological University comprises eight world-class schools including schools of business, medicine, engineering, social sciences, humanities, and sciences. NTU’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine was established in association with Imperial College London. In the realms of engineering and technology, Nanyang Technological University ranked 4th in the world in the 2017 QS World Rankings by subjects. Moreover, Nanyang Business School has consistently ranked as one of the top business schools in Asia, while its MBA program has been touted as the best in Singapore by the Economist.

3. Yale-NUS College 

Making it to the headlines last year as a college more difficult to get into than the Ivies, including Harvard and Yale itself, Yale-NUS College is a liberal arts college in Singapore. The college was founded just eight years ago, in 2011, as a joint venture of Yale University and the National University of Singapore. Yale-NUS College is the pioneer liberal arts college in Singapore and one of the few existing liberal arts colleges in the whole of Asia. 

Yale-NUS is primarily a four-year undergraduate institution with its most coveted programs, as per students’ choices, being Arts and Humanities, Politics, Philosophy, Economy, Psychology, and Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. Since its inception, it has consistently grown in reputation, receiving more than 8000 applications annually. Almost 60% of students who study at Yale-NUS are Singaporeans while the remaining 40% are international students. 

4. NUS Business School

NUS Business School is the business school of the National University of Singapore. Founded in 1965, NUS Business School was ranked as the 17th best business school in the world by Financial Times in 2019. Also, in 2019, Forbes recognized NUS Business School as the 6th best on its list of ‘Best International 2-Year Business Schools 2019.’
