Coursera is an online platform that partners with elite universities around the world to educate students online. The courses are videotaped, so students can watch them in their homes. Also, there are quizzes and tests during the course to encourage the students to do well and also evaluate their performances. If you have any questions throughout the course, the official forum is helpful in answering your questions.

There are over 2,000 courses that are available for students to watch for free. The courses themselves are 5 – 40 hours long and contain many quizzes and tests. The courses themselves cover a variety of topics from business to computer science.

Pricing

The courses, quizzes, and tests are completely free. However, Coursera charges $29-$99 for an official certificate that you’ve completed a course. The official certificate is totally optional, and it is for you to remind you that you’ve completed a course.
